Based in Needham Market, Suffolk, the family run business was started by Lewis after lockdown and paternity leave encouraged him to branch out from his 15yr career as a carpenter. Working closely with our suppliers we source direct from the dockside or sawmills in the UK and Europe to cut out the middleman and bring our customers amazing quality and keep the prices affordable. We have a large range of timber, sheet materials and fencing in stock and we’re committed to excellence in every board, beam and plank.

Our Green Oak Collection
We offer a comprehensive selection of premium green oak in stock— including posts, beams, planks, waney edge boards, and wind braces. Sawn fresh from the tree, green oak is highly prized for its strength, character, and workability. Its high moisture content makes it easier to shape and join, while its natural aging process brings out a timeless, rustic charm.

We use 3.5 ton vehicles so can easily access any location for convenient curbside delivery.

Yardside Timber Cutting Service
At Brooks Timber Supplies we are also happy to offer a bespoke made to measure service- We can mill or cut to any timber to the size required for your project & also can hand produce any size panel or gate to your specifications.
